Ellen Goldberg, M.A, is both a psychotherapist and a mystic.  An internationally renowned teacher of tarot and palmistry, she maintained a private, holistic psychotherapy practice in Manhattan for over 33 years.  In her own journey towards wholeness she has investigated many paths, and this has made her a rich resource for others. She knows from experience that you can change your way of being with yourself and being in the world. Ellen is the author of the bestselling book, The Art and Science of Hand Reading, which is based on her 40 years teaching palmistry.   Published in 2016, this book won the prestigious COVR (Coalition for Visionary Resources) Peoples Choice Award for the best book published on divination that year. Teaching is her passion.  She is the founder and director of the School of Oracles, now online, (www.schooloforacles.com) where she offers 100+ hour certification courses in both Tarot and Palmistry. Ellen has been on the faculty of the New York Open Center since 1986, where she has taught Tarot and the Western Hermetic Tradition, including such classes as Tarot and Kabbalah, Tarot and Alchemy, Tarot and Archetypes, and The Cup of Receptivity: Developing Intuition with Tarot. In addition, Ellen has taught at the Omega Institute, and at many NY Open Center Esoteric Quest conferences in such cities as Prague, Czech Republic; Florence, Italy; Granada, Spain, and at conferences in Greece, Germany, and at the Library in Alexandria, Egypt.
